This is what my ideal garden would look like.
I've recently decided to take up gardening. At first I was like, "oh, it won't be that hard. Buy the vegetables, plant them, water, and then eat." I realize now that I was very wrong. Of course, Michigan weather decided to be super cold throughout most of April so I haven't been able to sow any of my seeds outdoors. Today is the day I decided it was time to transplant my tomatoes to outdoor pots so they could get proper sun and conditions. It's been a rough start but hopefully things will pick up and my garden will flourish soon so I can reap the rewards of my patience and hard work. Until then, I will continue to work hard and keep dreaming of my perfect garden.
Oh, and my dad bought a tiller for $15. I'm stoked!

Work Out
Well, lately I've been feeling a little lumpy lately. Therefore I decided to get back into a schedule of working out. While browsing through Wal-Mart, I found Jillian Michaels' Killer Buns and Thighs. I tried it out tonight and oh my goodness it was killer...on just level 1. Aside from the intensity on beginner i think it's really going to be good for me. I plan to stick with this plan and turn it into a lifestyle.

My poor, little car...
This is what happens when my neighbor decides to go get cigarettes while he's intoxicated. My car get hit and even though he should have been arrested and ticket with a DWI, he wasn't. The cop told me that because it was the holidays and some other bull. I was thinking, "It's January 2nd, no longer a holiday and that doesn't not excuse his intoxicated driving and hitting my car." All of this just one day after my dad and I finished replacing the rotors, brake pads, and bearings on the front end and putting a drum on the back and fixing the shift cable. It was finally fixed and I had a semi-decent car. Then some idiot had to ruin it for me. But, this too, shall pass. It will be fixed and be as good as new. I just have no patience for people that do this and get away with it. It's completely unacceptable in my eyes. It's just very frustrating. Well I suppose I'm done venting and I need to just look on the bright side, there is no major damage and it's still very drive-able.

CarMD! A cars life saver!

I got this kit through BzzAgent.com and the CarMD campaign I signed up for. It comes with the handheld device, the bag, computer USB cable, an extension cable, CD, a booklet to get me started, and a membership to the website. This entire kit is available on the website for $164.00. It makes an excellent Christmas gift for a car person. If you follow this link: carmd.com/bzz you'll receive a $30 discount. I recently purchased a used ford focus and the check engine light was on. I found where the device plugs into my car, used the extension cable and tried it out. It found 9 different codes. I then plugged it into the computer and the reports told me exactly what's wrong with my car and approximately how much it will be to fix it. It saves my dad (who fixes my car) the trouble of looking for the problems and also saves him time since he works a lot. It is such a life saver and I'm going to get one for my Dad for Christmas! (Oh and its super awesome because it also works on my moms car and dads truck, BONUS!)
I'm a bzzagent spreading the word about CarMD! Go try it for yourself!

Home, Sweet Home!
I am so happy to be home. I just have to find places to put all of my stuff. I seem to just accumulate more and more stuff. I need to learn to not hold on to everything. I'm not really a pack-rat, I just don't throw things out when I know I won't use them. But I don't just keep random broken junk (at least not for long). I am trying to get rid of things I don't need and trying to become less materialistic. I feel that this will make me a more free person and in doing that, I'll be able to enjoy life more than I have in the past. When you're not worried about little worries, you can enjoy lifes small wonders. Like hanging out with your nephew all day so your sister can do homework. Yeah, he's like 2 1/2 and he's a brat most of the time but he's also really amazing. I've been able to watch him grow since he was born, he is growing sooo fast, I can't believe it. It's really a miracle to me. And now, I there is another baby on the way. One of our friends is pregnant and I can't wait! I get to babysit when (hopefully SHE) is born, though I'll be fine if it's a boy. I'm super excited. Anyways, since I'm going to be watching my nephew in the morning and he likes to get up early, I had better get to bed. Night.
