First Blog Post =]

Here goes nothing...

...As I'm sure you can tell, I'm a college student. A freshman in college to be exact and it's been pretty rough. I did Leadership Safari and that was okay except I'm not a very social person so I didn't make as many friends as I though I would. This doesn't bother me much because I'm pretty happy with the friends I have. What bothers me is my roommates. I have 3, E, C, and N.  N is my best girl friend from home. We've been bestfriends for at least the last 4 years. Some rough patches here and there, but all-in-all best friends in the end. E and C are our unknown prior to move-in day, roomies. They were alright in the beginning but talk about a living space nightmare. It's all...."this is my stuff don't destroy it blahblahblah, etc. etc." You get the picture right?  Well here lately it has been so bad that we actually are getting ready to take the steps to very possibly, move out of this room or the dorm altogether. Of course, we have to play the 'game' and have roommate talks with our RA and with our RHD before we can actually get the paperwork to moveout but it's a step in that general direction. Other than that, college life is pretty good. I love my classes and I like being here; I do miss home, my family and especially being with my boyfriend, Z (I just have the greatest time with him, I never want to leave) but I do like it here. Given the choice though, I'd move back home. This decision is mine and I can choose to go home after this year or this semester even but I'm not making an rash decisions as of now. I want to make an informed and rational choice. I would recommend that everyone who wants to go to college tryout living on campus if they can, because then you know if you really enjoy it and you know what you're missing if you don't like it. Even if it's just for a semester or a year. Try it out. You might actually like it; unless you're unlucky enough to get roommates like mine. =[ Just beat 'em up! lol. No really, just be as nice as possible for as long as possible and when that doesn't work, give them back what they're giving you, disrespect. Well I've got to go to bed now, I have to get up early for a meeting with my Nutrition Advisor, V. Good Night/Morning.
