I'm a BzzAgent and I got free samples of each of these. The Mascara came in just black and the Baby Lips came in 5 different "flavors". Right away I gave mascara to my mom and friend, and of course one for me to try. Later I gave some to my sister. My friend also received a Baby Lips sample.
Lots of Lashes mascara is new and different. It has a sort of cone shaped applicator and it makes coating the corners of your lashes a lot easier but if you're used to the more traditional brushes you might not like this one right away. I was like that but I've slowly gotten used to this new kind. I still prefer the more traditional but that's just me (and my mom. lol). The only other comment I've had is my friend asked if it was waterproof which I know I sometimes want in case of the occasional emotion overload where I break down and cry. She's pregnant so it's more likely to occur than normal. =]
The Baby Lips samples have served me well. I couldn't decide which flavor I wanted to try first, so I picked the one with the colors I liked best, the purple and green. I am a chapstick fanatic. I have about 10 different tubes on my desk alone. Plus countless others in my make-up collection and my various bags. I would highly recommend Baby Lips for people with normal not chapped lips. If you have chapped lips go for something with healing properties. None-the-less, still an awesome new chapstick and they have such pretty colors and nice flavors.
